...when every company had a resident sign maker, usually from the maintenance department, usually had 4 signs going at once. Usually Called Derek. Before vinyl cutting was hand painted stencils, before digital routers were hot wires and fretsaw... simpler times but will what I produce last 40 years?... I wonder.
Street signs
When it comes to putting up street signs it helps to have willing (?) children. This is our Joe following in the footsteps of his Dad, sisters and older brother who have all at one time tramped the streets with an armful of Correx and a beltful of cable ties, he has learnt well the golden rules and art of clipping the ties, making sure the signs are straight and taking all his rubbish with him. Why is it dark…because we do it at night, (this has always gone down well with them?)… Its also easier to park.
Unbelievable
Clever, clever, clever... love it, love it!
Can I do it. No! (but I could find out who could, if you really have the budget to spare). But I got to thinking. Augmented reality is great, I first saw it on a Lego box... but like many great ideas it does not transfer to the mass market well, its a cool idea waiting for a simple connection. However while watching the ad I asked myself. Why? It only really works if the bus stop is quietly empty, it probably cost quite a bit to produce and implement, I don't think it would work at night and you have to walk around the back to realise its for Pepsi, cost high effect low!... and then the penny dropped, its had 5 million viewings on You tube alone... doohh!... just this once Pepsi might have made me buy a Max.
